In this video released by the U.S. Coast Guard, the Coast Guard Disaster Assistance and Response Team, staged at the Reliant Center in Houston, prepares to be deployed to areas along the Texas and Louisiana coast affected by Hurricane Gustov, Sept. 1, 2008. The DART has special shallow-water search and rescue capabilities and is comprised of personnel from Huntington, W. Va., Paducah, Ky., Louisville, Ky. and Memphis, Tenn. The DART will be deployed alongside members of Texas Task Force 1.
