COAST GUARD RESCUES TWO DISTRESSED BOATERS HOUSTON - The Coast Guard rescued two distressed boaters approximately 250-yards off the coast of Bayview, Texas, in Galveston Bay, tonight. A watchstander at Sector Houston-Galveston received a call at 7:27 p.m. from a Good Samaritan reporting a disabled boat with two persons onboard. The cutter Manowar, which was in the vicinity of the disabled boat, launched a rescue boat crew to assist. The rescue boat crew towed the disabled boat back to shore. The boaters were reported to be in good condition.
