COAST GUARD CLOSES SECTION OF OHIO RIVER

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Coast Guard closed a 2-mile section of the Ohio River, today after two smallboats capsized near the Cannelton Lock and Dam here.  

The river is closed from mile marker 720 to 722 to commercial and recreational vessel traffic while search and rescue operations are conduced.

Two of the four boaters swam to shore.

The Tel City Sheriff's Department and Fire Departments are searching for the missing men. Only one person aboard the boats was reportedly wearing a life jacket.
