UPDATE 1: COAST GUARD REOPENS OHIO RIVER

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Coast Guard has reopened the Ohio River tonight from mile marker 720 to 722 near Louisville, that had previously been closed.  

The river was closed for safety precautions during search and rescue operations around two capsized vessels near the Cannelton Lock and Dam.

Two of the four boaters swam to shore.

The Tel City Sheriff's Department along with the Tel City Fire Department are searching for the two missing men. 

Only one of the boaters was reportedly wearing a life jacket.
