HURRICANE GUSTAV COMMAND CENTER ESTABLISHED IN ST. LOUIS

ST. LOUIS - The U.S. Coast Guard's Eighth District command and incident management team, usually located in New Orleans, has temporarily relocated its command staff to St. Louis to oversee hurricane response operations.

The team of approximately 40 personnel is operating out of the Coast Guard's Integrated Support Command located at the Robert Young Federal Building, 1222 Spruce St.

Media interested in speaking with the Coast Guard about local operations, hurricane response operations or who would like to tour the command center, are requested to contact the public information officer, Chief Warrant Officer Adam Wine at (314) 269-2454.
