COAST GUARD MEDEVACS INJURED MAN | |
|
HOUSTON - Coast Guard Air Station Houston medevaced a fisherman 50 miles east of Freeport, Texas, at approximately 2 p.m. today. An HH-65B Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Station Houston, located at Ellington Field, conducted a litter hoist of a male in his twenties who suffered from a head laceration. The patient was hoisted from the fishing boat Doctor Bill which is homeported in Palacios, Texas. He was transported to awaiting medical personnel at the University of Texas Medical Center in Galveston. Video footage of this rescue is available at the front gate.
