COAST GUARD ASSISTS SEARCH FOR MISSING GIRL | |

HOUSTON - The crew of an HH-65B Dolphin helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Houston assisted in the search of a missing 7-year-old girl at 11:45 p.m. Thursday. The Coast Guard provided the only air support during its two hour search. The Dolphin utilized advanced searching capabilities which include Night Vision Goggles and a Forward Infrared Looking Radar to search for the missing child in coordination with the Alvin Police Department. The Coast Guard crew was unable to locate the missing child. ### Note: Digital photographs of the HH-65B Dolphin helicopter, Night Vision Goggles and the Forward Looking Infrared Radar are available upon request. | |
